Common Implementation Strategy 2010-2012
The agreement to establish a Common Implementation Strategy (CIS) for the Water Framework Directive was seen as a milestone in working together towards a successful implementation of the core water law at EU level.
Over the past years, the impressive results, the added value and the cooperative spirit of the exercise have been widely recognised. The current CIS work programme, approved by the Water Directors, covers the period until the end of 2012 (now extended to mid-2013).
The Arno River Basin Authority has been partecipating to the CIS Activities 2010/2012.
